Chris has a great relationship with the local library. Not
only because the library is in the 2nd Ward, but because Chris is an active
user of the library with his seven-year-old daughter. Earlier this year, Chris
donated the paint, rocks, and paint brushes to start the “Stella the Rock Snake”
art project. Recently, Chris donated the grand prizes for the library’s “Kids
Summer Reading Tracker” program which begins June 30, 2025, and ends on August
23, 2025, with the winners of the grand prizes being announced on Monday August
25, 2025.
Chris said, “This is a great opportunity to get kids engaged
with reading during the summer. I volunteered to donate non-electronic grand
prizes to support this great program that Library Director John Gaff has
created. Reading is the gift that keeps on giving.”
